Using Your Pharmacist

Pharmacists are highly trained professionals who are usually local to their patients, and can offer a range of advice on a variety of conditions.

Click here, and scroll down to the bottom of the page to find chemists near you.

A new service has recently been launched in the area, offering pharmacist consultations for 'Common Ailments'.  Please see the following information to help understand if this service may be appropriate for you.
The purpose of this scheme is to offer care to patients sooner than they might receive from their GP, and thereby free up GP time for more complex issues / reviews.  If your pharmacist feels you need a GP review, they will make this recommendation and you can then contact your practice.
