CERVICAL SMEARS

About Cervical Screening - Public Health Wales (nhs.wales)

Women aged 25-64 will be invited for cervical screening every 5 years.

They are usually performed by the Practice Nurses (in the Well Woman clinic) so please contact us to make an appointment if you think you are overdue your smear.
MENOPAUSE

Menopause - Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (nhs.wales)

When to see your GP
It's worth talking to a GP if you have menopausal symptoms that are troubling you or if you're experiencing symptoms of the menopause before 45 years of age.
They can usually confirm whether you're menopausal based on your symptoms, but a blood test to measure your hormone levels may be carried out if you're under 45.
For more information on Menopause, please visit the NHS 111 Wales website.
