Telephone Consultations

If you need to speak to a doctor, please discuss this with a receptionist and they will arrange for this where appropriate on the same day.

A telephone consultation may offer greater flexibility when a face to face consultation with a GP maybe unnecessary.

Appropriate issues may be:-

1. Renewing Fit Notes (Sick Papers)
2. To discuss medication queries
3. To discuss blood results
4. To discuss newly started medication
5. To discuss progress etc. following a previous surgery or telephone consultation
6. Medication reviews

You will be given a date and approximate time frame when the Doctor will call you back. Please be available to answer your nominated phone as the Doctor will not be able to call you back again if you miss their phone call.

As an additional reminder, could you please ensure your contact details (particularly phone numbers) are kept up to date with the surgery.
