Apologies, the previous news post stated the surgery will be closed on the Thursday afternoons specified, when in fact the surgery will be open for nurse appointments, dropping in prescriptions etc.
There will be no GP's present however, as they will be attending the training sessions described, and 'Out of Hours' cover will be provided for any acute illnesses.
Sorry for any confusion caused.

Training afternoons / BP Pod / Help for the hearing impaired

Along with all practices in the area, we take part in a monthly professional development / training afternoon, and the following dates for 2016 have been confirmed when the practice will be closed after 1pm, and the Out of Hours Service will cover any emergencies during this period. Please note August and December have not yet been decided.

Also, we will soon have a Blood Pressure cuff available for patient use in our Tonteg branch, as well as new equipment available in both surgeries to help those who are hard of hearing when visiting the practice, so please enquire at the desk if you would like to know more.
