Local Activities, Text reminders and 'Having our cake and eating it!'

Firstly, we know there are many of you who use the local resources for over 65's pages in the 'Patient Resource' section. We have received updated information which has now been added to the website, and we have also changed the format of the file to hopefully enable easier printing.

The Local Health Board (Cwm Taf UHB) are providing free text reminders to those patients eligible for Flu jabs who have not yet received them, (if we have a working mobile number for you!). We have been asked to make you aware of the health board's privacy policy, in relation to use of personal details (eg mobile numbers).
These services are likely to become more common practice in the coming years, so please update us if you think your contact details may have changed.

Finally, we want to thank the staff for holding a Cake Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Care, which raised £71 for a very good cause!! Well done all!!
