As of 31 March 2023 the Practice will no longer offer the eConsult online facility.
It has become evident that the majority of contacts we receive via this method require follow-up with either a face-to-face appointment or telephone call, thus duplicating workload.
Unfortunately, it is also a service that has been abused with some patients submitting either unnecessary or an unreasonable number of requests. It is therefore not feasible for us to continue to offer the facility.
To continue to meet the requirements of the Welsh Government’s Access Standards we have improved the functionality available on our website to give patients a form of digital access which can be used for fit note requests, admin requests, appointment requests and prescription requests.
Please note, it is not appropriate to use the website for requests for clinical advice or urgent matters.
