We will be running regular clinics (Mon-Fri) through the autumn as well as arranging some Saturday clinics, the next of which will be Saturday 15th November!
The injection, which protects patients against flu, is advised for everyone over the age of 65 and also for younger patients who have certain medical conditions e.g. Diabetes, Asthma, Heart problems etc. The injection is also available to those with chronic liver disease as well as those who are the main carer for elderly or disabled persons.
If you are not sure if you need a flu jab please ring for advice or else check the link below for general guidance:

This year, intra-nasal (squirted up into the nose) Flu vaccines are available for children of 2, 3 and 4 years of age.
We are still encouraging patients to consider the pneumovax injection where indicated; and those who are eligible (those patients aged 70, 71, 78, 79, or 80 on the 1st September 2014) can also have a shingles vaccine.
